The staff showed compassion and professionalism during an incredibly difficult time, and there were several CNAs including Nate and Megan who went above and beyond in making her feel cared for and respected. Their kindness did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate the dignity they helped preserve for her. That said, I would like to offer a small piece of feedback in the hope that it may help future patients and families. Toward the end of her stay, there were times when comfort measures did not feel as readily accessible as they could have been. In such critical moments, timely attention to comfort can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s experience. I share this with respect and appreciation for the work being done, and with the hope that continued attention to comfort care will further strengthen the already compassionate environment you provide.
